Blocking Spam

Step 1
Sign into WebMail through the Horde IMP client.  Click Here to view step-by-step instructions. 

Step 2
Click on the Mail icon to view current e-mail messages.  See Figure 1.

Step 3
Place a check mark in the box next to the message that is considered SPAM.  See Figure 2.

Click on the "Blacklist" icon found at the top of the Webmail menu bar.  See Figure 3.

WebMail will then display the e-mail address added to the "Blacklist".  See Figure 4.

To manage e-mail addresses on the current black list click the word "Here" to view blacklist management page.  See Figure 5.

Step 7
The blacklist management page will display the current blocked e-mail addresses.  See Figure 6.

Step 8
Users can delete or add e-mail addresses in this window.  Make sure there is only one e-mail address per line.  Once finished click the button.  WebMail will then display "Changes Saved".  See Figure 7.

Step 9
Return to e-mail by clicking on the icon.
